2003. A short trip over an incredible high summer. Travelling from Helsinki
to Turku, then by ferry to an island in the South-Western archipelago.
Rather exceptionally for summertime Finland, the sun shone brightly,
and temperatures soared. A small café business I was helping a Finnish
friend with saw visitors from Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and
mainland Finland. Swimming in the Baltic in 20°C water was blissful.
